how old do you need to be?

while legally you can get tattooed under 18 with parental consent i won't do it. i strongly believe it's better to wait as your body and brain are still developing leading to distorted tattoos of things you're quite likely to change your mind on. the majority of tattoos i cover up were done on those under 18.

wanna bring someone with you for your appointment?

it's often okay but please consider who you bring. a tattoo studio is not a safe place for children and they can be distracting to our artists while they concentrate on making a perfect tattoo.

if your friend is disruptive, same goes! if they're chill though it's not a problem at all and bringing a support person can be a great way to distract from the pain.

how does pricing work?

for smaller tattoos you'll get a quote based on size, detail and placement.

larger work is priced hourly at 200/hr or 1200 a day (up to 8 hours).

longer sessions are generally better value for money since we don't need to replace the materials and spend time setting up/stencilling again etc.

in a day i cover around an a4 sized design usually, and most sleeves take 4-6 decent sessions.

do i need to pay a deposit?

i operate on a trust system where i give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but if you don't come in i don't get paid a cent.

i can't afford to be let down multiple times and go unpaid so if you cancel last minute or reschedule often i'll ask for a deposit of $200+ just so i know you're serious.

if you've paid a deposit make sure you turn up or i'll keep that to cover a portion of the time wasted!

healed vs post touch up tattoo comparison

need a touch up?

no problem! things happen and sometimes you can lose a bit of ink in the healing, sometimes it's bad aftercare sometimes it's just bad luck.

just let me know within 12 months and i'll go over it for free! any longer and the ink won't match so i'll have to charge you to do a  more extensive rework.

skin types?

i tattoo all skin types!

darker skin won't show the colour quite as bright but that doesn't mean we can't make it look great.

got scars or eczema?

these can be a little tricky but generally doable. just let me know and we can talk about your options!
